Many hiring managers who had seen my career presentation would ask me "so what is your purpose in life?" as they spotted the slogan on my Home page. Well, being a Christian, my purpose is clear - to serve and glorify God, to bless others. And truly, this is what any one can do, anywhere - at home, social network or corporate marketplace. 

 

In my view, a job is to pay for bills. Having said that, I do LOVE to work (it sounds insane to some but yes ! I love to work and find joy in working and seeing my efforts benefit someone (a customer, colleague, partner) or an organization.  It is also our jobs and companies where we spend the majority of our lives (if you think about it ... 8-16 hours a day !).  So surely, we all want to land that job/company where we feel most passionate about.  Culture and the people (who made them) plays an important part in my selection. 

 

Having spent half my career journey working in the most sexy IT companies of the world, I cannot dispense Technology in my life today. Which probably explains why I have even created this website on my own!

 

So besides great cutlture and emerging technologies, what motivates me is.... Visionary Leadership.  I admire leaders who are bold, visionary, articulates clear vision and strategies and are able to take the organization forward through relentless execution.  Having been blessed with great mentors (you know who you are!) throughout my career, learning to be a strong leader and mentor becomes a natural progression and behavior.  

 

Leaning on to my gender instincts, I am a firm advocate for 'diversity' and sponsorship for women leaders and women in IT.  Microsoft, Cisco, HP, IBM, DBS are companies who have all embraced it!
